The snake is truly a symbol of rebirth and change

I was cleaning my house yesterday evening. And I saw a smooth reddish shiny rope-like figure gliding through my cabinet. I know it was the lower half of a snake. Normally, I would have been hysterical at the sight of it but for that time I was just floored and awed. It was a beautiful sight. The tail is like the color combination of a gold fish tail with reddish and yellowish streaks, moving graciously. I felt like it was omenous to see one and I felt it was a good omen. Today, I read from somewhere in the net that snakes symbolize rebirth and change. Then I realize this must be a good omen. When we had a meeting this morning without the overbearing OC perfectionist boss who has just retired, I just realized how nice it was without her. Suddenly everyone is happier and our meeting has become pleasant. This must be what the snake is telling me. From this day on, it is going to be a new day and an opportunity for me to grow without the feeling of having an axe ready to fall on you. HAPPY NEW FISCAL YEAR!!

Laws of our lives

1. The Law of Attraction--what you think about, you attract. Only what is compatible with your thinking ever comes to you. So if you think you are poor, money will always find a way to slip out of your hand. If you think you have enough, then you will always have enough for yourself. Beware of saying "I got no money", because that is what you'll simply get.

2. The Law of Affirmation--what you suggest or affirm in your mind will manifest in physical reality.

3. The Law of Compensation--whatever you do comes back to you. This one I really believe in.

4. The Law of Causality--nothing happens by chance. Every thing has a cause. Something in your thinking caused whatever is happening to you.

Amen.

Disaster Galore

Ketsana (tyhpoon Ondoy) ni Manila virtually flooded the country's political and economic capital; so much damage to properties and lives. Ketsana in Vietnam, the same damage as in the Philippines.

Tsunami in Samoa. Earthquake in Indonesia.

Where is next?

It seems that we are nearing the apocalypse the Bible mentioned about. I think the Bible is right. I feel 2012 will be a year full of surprise and fear.

But as I have always believed, all things work for the good.

When the heavens kiss the mountains

The whole week last week was a great opportunity to enjoy the coolness, the beauty of the misty fog. It was my first time to see such a thing here in the Philippines. I had been to Baguio City but never did it fog similarly like it did here. It was very thick, visibility was less than 3 meters. On some parts, you couldnt see the vehicle in front of you. It was worse in one field here: two persons were talking over the radio, not realizing until later that they are just back to back each other. One harvest truck got stuck in a mud for one whole day. Reason? The skidder couldn't find it even if they are just near each other!

I look forward to another natural beauty like this--a beauty that is priceless yet not everyone is able to enjoy.
